SUBJECT:
Trent Shores East & Wards Point
Dear Mr. Mills:
We wish to request water Quality Certifications to allow us to fill
wetlands in order to construct roads to usable land in two (2) adjoining
subdivisions.
The first one (Wards Point) was permitted on November 19, 1987 by letter
from Mr. Charles W. Hollis to Mr. Robert L. Moul. It consist of approximately
180-foot of private drive crossing wetlands. Considering the width of roadway
at the toe of the fill we anticipate this equates to approximately 0.12 acres
that we will be filling in the wetlands.
The second one (Trent Shores East) was permitted on September 19, 1987 by
letter from Mr. Charles W. Hollis to Mr. Rob Maul. It consist of
approximately 200 linear feet and fill and 48-foot culverted crossing of
a tributary to the Trent River. . There are in addition to this area two (2)
minute areas where the roadway may encroach on a point of the wetlands;
however, the entire disturbed area will be approximately 0.34 acres.
We are enclosing copies of the conceptual maps showing the wetlands and
"high lighting" the areas that will be distur.bed.
Please review these areas and state the required conditions for construction
of each subdivision so that we can prepare our roadway plans.
On behalf of the owners we thank you for your assistance in obtaining the
Section 401 permits.
Very truly yours,
