A copy of the General Certification is attached. This Certification may be used in qualifying for coverage under Corps of Engineers' Nationwide Permit No. 26. Davis Director RECEIVED DEC 14 1987 WATTk QUALITY SECTION OPERATiONIed BRANCH The Division of Parks and Recreation proposes to excavate accumulated sediment from Sycamore Lake and Reedy Creek Lake in William B. Umstead State Park in Wake County. The project includes the construction of a sediment control dam in Reedy Creek Lake. The attached maps show the location of the proposed work. The U. S. Army Corps of Engineers has authorized this work by Nationwide Permit No. 26. A condition of the permit is that state water quality certification be obtained.
