Tori,
Thank you for your PCN and attached information, dated and received 7/2/2019), for the above referenced project. I
have reviewed the information and need clarification before proceeding with verifying the use of Nationwide Permit 39
(http://saw-reg.usace.army.mil/NWP2017/2017NWP39.pdf). Please submit the requested information below (via e-mail
is fine) within 30 days of receipt of this Notification, otherwise we may deny verification of the use of the Nationwide
Permit or consider your application withdrawn and close the file:
1) Submit a zoomed -in plan view and profile drawing of the new dam structure, detailing the work to be involved
within waters of the US. The current "Wetland and Open Water Impact Map does not provide enough detail
upon which to base construction compliance;
2) Clearly describe the sequencing and method of pond sediment removal and reshaping, including dewatering
methodology. Also, please provide a map showing the location and footprint of the disposal area for the
removed sediment.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
