of The Sun Journal, who being duly sworn, states that the advertisement entitled NOTICE OF DISCHARGE OF ANIMAL
WASTE Lanes Swine Farm, located at 10588 NC Hwy 55 West, Dover NC had a discharge of animal waste on
January 15, 2019 between the approx. hours 1:00am-7:00am. The discharge was approx. 80,000 gallons and
took place at the ad a true copy of which is printed herewith, appeared in The Sun Journal, a newspaper published in the City of
New Bern, NC, County of Craven, State of North Carolina, 1 da on the following dates:

As required by the laws of the State of North Carolina, New Bern Sun Journal meets the requirements of NC statute 1-597 as the
newspaper of record for Craven County.
NOTICE OF DISCHARGE OF ANIMAL WASTE
Lanes Swine Farm, located at 10588 NC Hwy 55 West, Dover NC had a discharge of animal waste on January 15,
2019 between the approx. hours 1:00am-7:00am. The discharge was approx. 80,000 gallons and took place at the
address stated. The NC Division Of Water Resources was notified of the event on January 15, 2019 and are reviewing
the matter. The farm, and consequently, into the Neuse River. The cause of the leak was repaired. This notice was
required by NorthCarolina General Statues Article 21, Chapter 143.215C. For More information, contact Lane Swine
