Description of Collection System:
The City of Mount Airy Collection System consist of approximately one hundred forty one(141)miles of Sanitary Sewer
Mains and 4,473 household and commercial connections. The System is divided into twenty-six different basins that drain
into three main outfall sewer mains,which connect at the City of Mount Airy Wastewater Treatment Plant.
