The dry stack and barn are to be under roof and constructed where the milk parlor and barn once stood. The area has been surveyed and graded. No other construction has occurred. No animals are being kept on the concrete lot at this time. No water quality violations or concerns were observed. Owner has over 100 beef cattle but they are on pasture until the barn and dry stack are built. Owner has been waiting on a revised design from the contractor that will meet NRCS approval. Per Mr. Gambill the section where the waste is to be stored needs a design with posts only 8 foot apart, rather than 12 foot as was in the original design. The rest of the barn (where cattle will housed) will have posts 12 foot apart. Mr. Gambill stated that he had just been informed by the contractor that the revised design had been sent to NRCS yesterday and that he has workers ready to begin construction immediately once given approval. If weather conditions were ideal, Mr. Gambill said he was told by the contractor that the dry stack could be built in about 5 weeks. page: 1 r F, Permit: `}AWC030001 Owner - Facility : David T Gambill Facility Number: 030001 Inspection Date: 01/16/18 Inpsection Type: Technical Assistance Reason for Visit: Other n Regulated Operations Design Capacity Current promotions Cattle Cattle - Beef Feeder 200 0 Total Design Capacity: 200 Total SSLW: 160,000 Waste Structures Disignated Observed Type Identifier Closed Date Start Date Freeboard Freeboard Waste Pond WASTE POND 07/22/17 Discharges & Stream Impacts Yes No Na No 1.
