4. Waste levels represent the distance between the waste level and top of dam.
7. Need to mow embankment on upper waste pond when soil conditions allow.
Tracy reported that commercial fertilizer was applied two weeks ago. Gramoxone was applied May 24 and 25, 2018 (Thursday
and Friday) by Southern States in Mt. Airy to "bum down" small grain cover crop prior to planting. Animal waste has not been
applied for several months. Tracy also stated that rain did not start until about noon on Saturday May 26.
No animal waste was observed on fields surrounding permitted farm. No evidence of dead vegetation outside application fields.
Contacted Tracy Bottomley by phone just prior to arrival. He was out of town but gave permission to check waste pond levels and
application fields. Could not find any of the farm staff.
