The facility has re -installed some retention ditches below the chemical building that allow the silage leachate to be filtered out prior to flowing into the stream. There was no dead vegetation in the ditch just prior to entry into the stream. The retention ditches appear to be working very well and there was not evidence of stream impacts (i.e. no fungal material or foam in the stream).
