Dear Mr. Bolich:
We would like to thank Zach Thomas and Erin Deck for their time and professional compliance
inspection of our collection system (WQCS00060) on June 17, 2019. Your letter dated July 9, 2019
requests a response to items no. 9, 10.a.i and 10.a.ii. We offer the following information:
7. Service Tap Information —Please be advised that the Johnston County GIS system has been
updated to identify parcels with Johnston County sewer service.
9. Newly Constructed Lines —County staff, including the collection system ORC or back-up ORC are
present for a final inspection at the completion of each extension to the system. The County
does not accept the extension for ownership, operation and maintenance until this final
inspection is completed and all necessary close-out documents submitted to the County
(including the final certification submittal to NC DEQ). Once the final inspection is completed
and as -built drawings are submitted to the County, the County's GIS/AutoCAD Technician adds
the sewer extension with relevant attributes to the County's GIS inventory (via field GPS and
mapping).
15. Lift Stations —Please be advised that the fence repair at Selma Lift Station (noted in item 10.a.i)
has been completed. In addition, the 24 HR contact information has been updated at the
Buffalo Creek and Devil's Racetrack Stations.
