The inspection was in regards to Wastewater Collection System (WWCS) Permit WQCS00189 for the Raleigh -Durham International Airport. The following is in response to the items listed in the CEI report. 2. On the day of the inspection, Mr. Curtis Henderson was the designated backup Operator in Responsible Charge (bORC) on record for the system. On June 17, 2019 paperwork designating Mr. Henderson as the Operator in Responsible Charge (ORC) was submitted Two Authority employees are slated to receive necessary training to become bORCs later this year. The training is scheduled for October 2-4, 2019 at Carteret Community College. 3. The Grease interceptors are operated and maintained by the Authority. Currently Valley Proteins is utilized for the pumping out of grease. Disposal manifests of grease removal are kept. Maintenance and repairs of the grease interceptors are completed by the Authority. If repairs are beyond the Authority's capability, then a vendor will be utilized. Maintenance and repair records are kept on site. Enforcement actions, stemming from Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) violations, are maintained with the FOG program. Lift Station #8 (LS-8), while manned daily by a tenant, did not have daily logs of service. Since the inspection, Authority maintenance staff have visited, and will continue to visit, the site daily. Additionally, steps are in place to reactivate the telemetry at the station. The audible alarm was retested on June 11'h and is working. The alarm is tested daily, as part of the site check, to ensure it is in working order.
