Dear Mr. Bazinet:
On May 10, 2019, the Division issued a Notice of Violation (NOV) against Hexion Acme Facility—
NPDES Permit NC0003395. The NOV was based upon a violation of the requirement to register and
submit the annual payment of fees for the subject permit. Subsequent to your receipt of the NOV, it was
brought to the Division's attention that the invoice was paid by credit card on December 21st, 2016.
Since the payment is accounted for, I have withdrawn the NOV against Hexion Acme Facility for the
cited violation and directed that the record of this violation be removed from our files.
