Thank you for your request to participate in the Streamlined Industrial User Permit (IUP) Review
process. You have successfully completed the requirements for participation by attending the DWR IUP
Writing Workshop and submitting 3 permits for a detailed PERCS review. Please include the Streamlined

Your approval number, to be included on the submittal form, is 0139.
Your approval to submit permits through the streamlined permit review process will not expire. If new
regulations or language is implemented which requires the permit writer to update their knowledge or
skills, you will be informed and provided with an appropriate timeframe to attend a refresher workshop.
DWR reserves the right to review an IUP submitted by an approved permit writer at any time. If this
review indicates there are concerns with any of the times in 15A 2h .0917 (f), you will be notified at the
time of the review and expected to make any needed corrections. This review may take plane outside
the typical 30-day review period.
