The Service does not have concerns with the proposed crossing specifically however due to the proximity to several endangered aquatic species, we encourage the development be extra diligent

Good morning Leigh.

You left me a voicemail on Wednesday after John Hammond forwarded you and email I sent regarding an official ruling needed on a site in Johnston County. I do not have a cover letter
for the project. The project is a residential subdivision and the area in question is at a proposed road crossing. The USACE rep is concerned about the presence of the dwarf wedgemussel
because records indicate their presence in the vicinity of the project. I have provided the overall site plan and impact maps provided by our client, as well as GIS maps with identification
numbers and photos of the stream. Please let me know if you have questions or is you need additional information. Thank you for your help! Have a great weekend.
