Please be aware that via the permit conditions if there is wastewater entering the stream from your facility that you must estimate the flow of wastewater into the stream semi-annually This discharge must also not cause a turbidity of higher than 50 NTU in the receiving stream. Other Findings 1)The facility operates about 1-2 times every two weeks during slow periods, and about 2-3 a week during busy periods. 2) The facility removes about 200 tons of sand from the stream per year 3)The area between the stream and the sand piles is bermed. During heavy rain events water collects in the area between the road and the sand piles, then drains into the ground or enters the stream through a vegitated area away from the sand piles. This pathway through the vegitation did not appear sandy from runoff. It does not appear that sand reenters the stream once it has been pulled out. 4) No dead fish have been observed from the operation Page# 2 Permit.
