Repair damaged section of ocean outfall to maintain drainage from NC 12.

The outlet of Ocean Ouffall # 8 at Baum Street is in need of repair, and NCDOT proposes to replace the last 36 feet of existing 27" RCP with 36 feet of 27" RCP. An excavator, loader,
trailers, and light trucks will be used.

Work will be performed during daylight hours and during lowtides. Work area will be limited to 100 feet on either side of the ocean outfall. Due to work
