Dear Permittee:
On June 6, 2019, Brian Lambe from the Wilmington Regional Office of the Division of Energy, Mineral,
and Land Resources (DEMLR), conducted a compliance evaluation inspection for Diversified Biomass
Company DBA American Property Experts located in New Hanvover County, North Carolina. The site
drains to Cape Fear River, which is currently classified as Class C Waters in the Cape Fear River Basin.
The following observations were noted during the DEMLR inspection (please see the attached
addendum for additional information about your permit):

Mr. Thompson was unavailable during inspection. Please contact this office to schedule review of SPPP
and monitoring documents.
The inspection is in response to a complaint of concrete crushing on the property. The NCG210000 does
not cover concrete crushing, only timber and wood products. NCG070000 covers stone and concrete
products. Compliance options will be discussed next meeting.
Thank you for your assistance and cooperation during this inspection. Please be advised that violations
of the NPDES Stormwater General Permit may be subject to a civil penalty assessment of up to
