Stokes County
Bridge No. 840290 on SR 1128 (Brown Rd.) over Danbury Creek
This memo serves to update the status of federally protected species for the above -referenced
project.
Species: Small-anthered bittercress (Cardamine micranthera)
Survey Date: 4/30/2018
Survey Information: Surveyed for small-anthered bittercress on 4/30/2018. Study area
surveyed: 500' north and south of Bridge No. 290, 100' from the centerline of SR 1128 (Brown
Rd.) near the culvert and narrowing to 50' from the centerline along the northern and southern
ends of the study area. Survey results: suitable habitat present within study area, but no
specimens of targeted plants observed within study area. No known occurrences within 1.0 mile
per NCNHP records dated January 2018.
Length of Survey: 1.5 Person Hours
Biological Conclusion: No Effect
