Proposed airport terminal building, parking lot, and roadway has an impervious area of 4.5ac which utilizes LID; no curb
and gutter. The existing/proposed drainage area containing 5.01ac. impervious area will be treated using a single
bioretention. A target of 85% TSS removal will be achieved. Both of these drainage areas combine just downstream of
the proposed BMP, on airport property.

At the intersection of NC49 / US52. Head southeast on W Church St / US-52 toward Bradford St for 6.5 miles. Turn left
at NC-1524 / Prospect Church Rd. Continue to follow NC-1524 for 2.4 miles. Continue on Airport Rd / NC 1549 for 0.07
miles. Aviation Dr on the left
Please attach a map of site location using USGS 1:24,000 topographic map and the latest bound and
published County soil survey with the project/site boundaries delineated. A site plan should also be
included for all projects other than stream and wetland determinations.

Dear Mrs. Gilleski,
As requested in our meeting on August 13 regarding the New Terminal Building project at the
Stanly County Airport, please find enclosed the revised initial interest form and data to include
the 401 Water Quality Certification. Also please notice the grading changes made, per our
meeting, to include more of the terminal building and parking lot to drain into the proposed
bioretention basin. In addition, we understand that the meeting held August 13 will count toward
this submittal.
Also please close the original project number for this project (if any) that was created since the
express review process is being utilized.
Talbert & Bright and HDR submits this revised letter, the attached project map and the
application for Initial Interest Express Permitting.
We look forward to working with NCDENR in providing these measures. If you have any
