Dear Mr. Peoples:
A review has been conducted of the self -reported Sanitary Sewer Overflow (SSO) 5-Day Report submitted by City
of Gastonia. This review has shown the City of Gastonia to be in violation of the requirements found in the
subject permit and/or North Carolina G.S. 143-215.1(a)(1). The violations that occurred are summarized below:

Remedial actions, if not already implemented, should be taken to correct the above noncompliance. Please note

duration, gravity, impacts to public health, fish kills and other factors.
