Facility Description: The Raleigh -Durham Airport Authority (Airport Authority) owns
and operates a wastewater collection system. This system serves
Airport tenants and customers through approximately 12 miles of
sanitary sewer lines and 19 duplex pump/lift stations. The sewage
and wastewater is conveyed to the Town of Cary's North
Wastewater Treatment Plant (NC0048879) and/or the Neuse River
Wastewater Treatment Facility (NC0029033).
Performance
North Carolina General Statute §143-215.1C requires the Airport Authority to prepare and post an
annual collection system performance report. The system performance over the respective
twelve-month period is summarized below:
