RECEIVE,1- NCOIN R/DWR AUG 6 WaterQuaay cio al Operation, Wilmington Re :e Coming out of the winter months and into the spring planting season, the occurrence of regular rain events left the soil on my farms continuously wet. Rather than irrigate onto wet soil, I made the conscious decision to delay my irrigation until the conditions were more favorable for irrigation. I believe this decision was a responsible decision that I would make again. In April, my farm received nearly ten inches of rain. As a result of the wet weather pattern and my management decision, there were a few days in which my lagoons were within the start -pump range. That situation was alleviated responsibly in the early days of May and the lagoons have been managed within the permit specifications since that time.
