The Division of Water Resources (Division) received your sludge survey information on
December 4, 2018. With the survey results, you requested an extension of the sludge survey
requirements for Lagoons 1, 2 & 3 at Herring Pork Producers facility. Due to the amounts of
treatment volume available, the Division agrees that a sludge survey is not needed until
December 31, 2021.
The next sludge survey for the three lagoons at Herring Pork Producers should be performed
before December 31, 2021. Please retain this letter and keep it with your farm records for
reference.
