The field site conditions were better than anticipated, given considerably wet weather conditions for past several months. As noted in comments, the field sites need routine maintenance for removal of undergrowth/small saplings. Owner is knowledgeable of system, performs most maintenance himself and keeps an excellent inspection and maintenance spreadsheet. (If yes, take pictures if possible) ❑ ❑ ❑ If system is failing, describe any exposures to people/animals or environmental risks. NA. Comment: The application field(s) are in a wooded area which needs typical maintenance for wire -fencing, removal of small saplings and downed trees and fill dirt for depressions. This is and older system and does not have a rain -sensor. so Dermittee must monitor system during inclement weather. There was a small area within Zone 3 that exhibited slight ponding, at the time of inspection. The application fields appeared in good order given the unusually wet weather conditions over the past several months. The field sites are slightly upslope from the owner's yard, which was soft -to -wet, and could be contributing some drainage to that area, but there was no obvious sign of run-off, at the time of inspection.
