REGAN Secretary LINDA GULPEPPER arwtor David E Johnson via Email City of Mount Holly PO Box 406 Mt Holly, NC 28120 NORTH CAROUNA Environmental Qual" May 9, 2019 SUBJECT: Compliance Inspection Report City of Mount Holly RLAP Non -discharge Permit No. WQOOO1863 Gaston County Dear Mr. Johnson: The North Carolina Division of Water Resources conducted an inspection of the City of Mount Holly RLAP on 4/30/2019. This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Non -discharge Permit No. WQ0001863. The findings and comments noted during this inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report entitled "Compliance Inspection Report". Residuals records and processing appeared in order at the time of inspection; however, there are a couple of items noted to maintain overall compliance: • One of two residuals holding tanks was full to capacity with an estimate of 18 inches from the top of the tank. It is recommended a maximum level mark be placed/painted on both residuals storage tanks at 24 inches below the lowest point to meet non -discharge storage requirements for a minimum 2 feet of freeboard. • This permit is due to expire on November 3Oth, 2019. A renewal application is due 6 months prior to expiration, by May 31st, 2019.
