Culvert project will replace existing 1 @ 73" x 55" corrugated metal pipe arch with a 1 @ 117" x 79" corrugated aluminum alloy pipe arch w/ headwall on SR 2835 (McKnight Mill
Rd). Larger culverts will reduce outlet velocities. Armor outlet bed with Class II Rip Rap for bed stabilization. Armor stream banks with rip rap for stabilization. New culvert will
not be buried due to avoidance of conflict with existing city of Greensboro 30" water line .
