Summary of our phone call w/ Tom Poe, and James Moore, and Zahid Kahn in the MRO.

THE PERMIT FOR WIREBOND (NCS000596):
Needs to be rigorous.
Site housekeeping needs much improvement
Parking Areas need to be swept and vacuumed daily
All Catch Basins should be vacuumed and cleared immediately and regularly.
Catch Basin and swale Socks need to be replaced, now and regularly
Permit needs to include requirements for a BMP for Metals especially Zinc.

Inspection and Review of the air photo of the site shows:
Catch Basins # 1, #3, and #4, are most important, and should have/need monthly monitoring
Catch Basin #2 is clean and needs little monitoring
Catch Basins # 5, 6, 7, and 8, drain same area, need ROS application.

SOP, Standard Operating Procedures:
The ROS policy needs to be documented in the SOP
The regulatory reference for requirements to make a General Permittee apply for and obtain an Individual Permit need
to written and included in the SOP

ACTION ITEMS, for Tom:
Prepare a "working draft permit" for internal discussion.
Prepare a list of discussion questions for EPA, when they are here in March.
Continue to improve the SOP for reviewing, writing, and issuing/reissuing Individual Permits.

NCS000213, DETREX
Permit last active 2009 or 2010,
Emails from 3/2018, discuss that site is inactive, empty, cleared, and inspected, No one available to request recession.
Tom will check with Richard Farmer, new Charlotte Stormwater contact, to see if any activity or history on site.
Tom will check with Bethany and BIMS to (“Close”) the account.

MRO, will discuss and suggest a replacement for EPA to do a site visit/inspection.

I have started review of WireBond Permit application.
The air photo in the submission shows 8 catch basins in the area.
