The Pretreatment, Emergency Response, and Collection Systems Unit (PERCS) of the Division of
Water Resources has reviewed the updated Long Term Monitoring Plan (LTMP) submitted for
the Town of Fuquay-Varina. This LTMP was received by the Division on January 28, 2019.
Additional information was requested and was received on March 6, 2019.
The review indicates that the LTMP is adequate and meets the requirements needed to
establish a site -specific Headworks Analysis (HWA). Proper implementation of a LTMP is also
required by your NPDES permit. Please refer to the Comprehensive Guidance for North Carolina
Pretreatment Programs (Comprehensive Guide) for additional information and examples.
