On December 19, 2018, Cory Larsen with Wake County Department of Environmental
Services, on behalf of the Division of Water Resources, performed a compliance evaluation
inspection of the subject wastewater treatment system to evaluate compliance with the
subject permit to discharge wastewater. Roger Tupps and Rob Boone (ORC) provided their
assistance for the inspection which was appreciated. Please refer to the attached inspection
report for full results.
On the day of the inspection, the plant was operating normally and producing clear effluent
through trains 3-4. The plant has been upgraded to better handle surge flows and denitrify
to meet more stringent nutrient effluent limitations, and no compliance issues were found
during the inspection.

WCES inspected the WWTP on 12/18/18 with the assistance of Roger Tupps and Ron Boone' (ORC).
Trains 3 and 4 were in operation and producing good quality effluent. Upgrades are mostly complete
and equalization is available to prevent surge through the plant which had passed solids in the past.
