We had a slope failure on the U-2579B project. The slope failure caused the top of a junction box to be dislodged. A
stream is carried Inside the pipe system that the box leads to. After excavating to find the pipe system, approximately
25, 5 gallon buckets of sediment was discovered in the piped stream. I instructed them to remove the sediment from
inside the pipe while they isolated the area from the flowing stream. There was no visible sediment at the pipe
outlet. The location of the slope failure is the outlet of permit site 4. The slope failure occurred last Friday, but the
sediment wasn't discovered until yesterday. Let me know if you have any questions.
