also copied below, momentarily. We felt it was important to remind the public that the State does not consider the
wager unsafe. From a public health perspective, we want to make sure this information remains at: the forefront.

The Cape Fear Public Utility Authority and the City of Wilmington are working with area ministers to designate
churches as potential water delivery sites in the City of Wilmington. As a free, temporary service to residential

Below is the press release that we plan to send out after the city releases their statement...
NEW HANOVER COUNTY, NC —The NC Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) made a statement
this week that, at the current GenX levels in the county s water supply, the general population does not need
to stop drinking municipal water. The state°s explanation of their public health position can be viewed here.
As a service to residents, Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA) is offering water from a groundwater
source at Ogden Park. In addition, CFPUA is working with the City of Wilmington and local churches to set up
additional water distribution sites.
