numbers fluctuate, raw water studies by dr. Knappe). And have the team review answers.
Also with the governor's visit toWilmington onMonday there will beadditional materials toreview today and this
weekend and ask that our teams remain available to quickly review and provide edits to make sure we are getting
everything correctly.

* Discussion about July 3Test America result for finished water at B|aden Bluffs (190 pnd, which is
outside the variance ofZ0'3Qpercent that has been used byDr. Knappe. Currently noEPA
results atthat site.
* Consensus that there needs tobeadditional work unmessaging for public
• Press release on test results will be rescheduled for early next week to make sure messaging is
accurate

w Local health departments requested at least a two-hour embargo for press release and TPs
* Brunswick Health Director (David Stanley) asked about variability in results; DE[C rain dilution,
changes in river flow are possible causes. DEQ may have additional conversation with Brunswick
officials this afternoon.
* Brunswick public utilities official (Glenn Walker) asked if there have been any issues with quality
assurance; DEQ: Test America and EPA results are showing same trends, which is a good sign for
using the data moving forward
* Local officials appreciated DE[\and DHHS participation in the 6enXforunn at Brunswick
Community College onWednesday
w Local officials noted questions in their communities around possible studies on GenX and a
citing testing ofraw water from JQ13'JOI4done byDr. Knappethat shows
GenX levels ranging from 55 ppt to more than 4,500 ppt
