Just learned that we have preliminary water data back for July 3 and 6 sampling in the Cape Fear.
I spoke with Dana Satterwhite at our lab. She has sent me the raw numbers and we can use those to fashion the news
re/ease.
She expects to have her piece of the qualitative analysis done and sent over to DHHS by noon tomorrow. It would be
nice if we could have a news release teed up by tomorrow with the raw data as our benchmark. We'll change if the
analysis indicates we need to do so but this should give us something towrite with. Then, if it's over to DHHS by
tomorrow afternoon, perhaps we could send the news release on Thursday morning, so it gets in front of folks with
plenty oftime inthe day todigest.
Just from what she told me, it sounds like we had some finished water trending downward but some (Nw Brunswick and
B|aden Bluffs) trended north of the 140 ppt health goal.
