Has the plant been notified about Gen }{9Does the plant have tonotify its employees about it?
Also, iathere any concern about the water being used for plantoperations? Uait possible that Gen }{ could get in
food? Do you know how much water the plant uses and what it uses it for?

So does the Bladen Bluffs Water Treatment Plant get water from a well or the river? Also, do you know if
Smithfield uses the water only for its operations or is some of it used for drinking fountains and similar uses at
the plant?

The Bladen Bluffs Water Treatment Plant serves Smithfield Foods Packing Plant. No other connections to
this water plant at this time. The well we sample is also only serving Smithfield Packing plant.
