Review this SOP and follow their protocol asclosely aspossible for these samples. There are bottles sufficient for the next two weeks. Please use one ofyour own coolers for samples being delivered next week and use the cooler that the bottles arrived in for the final week's samples. | can retrieve DEC\ coolers from the EPA lab at some later time and get them back to you. You will find three sample bottles sealed with red tape inthe coolers. Don't remove this tape oropen the bottles since they are a trip blank and two trip spikes that are to be included as QC samples for the EPA procedure. One office got "A" samples and the other received "B"samples. Include these bottles inyour sample delivery coolers for the next sampling event. I will be getting another set of these for the final week's sampling and will get those to you by courier next week. There are small vials with HNO3 to be added to each bottle after sample addition, one vial per sample bottle. I will be sending you another email after this that includes things that the EPA laboratory would like to see on your [O[/Fie|dSheet, including Lat/Lon0coordinates. Use aChain ofCustody form for these coolers since the integrity ofthe samples needs tobeensured throughout the process. Also, record the EPA OCsamples onthis form. Please forward this email toothers who may need tosee it. |fyou have questions orconcennsaboutthesamp|ekitsor the EPA procedure please let me know. If I've forgotten anything I will send follow-up emails. Thanks for your efforts with this sampling!
