Linda,
To clarify, Brunswick County would be interested in learning of all methods in which GenX can be
removed from the water supply. You may have someone working on this issue already and, if so, we
would like the information shared with us once it is compiled.
Thanks for all that DE[lisdoing toassist with this issue.

Subject: FW: Gen X Sampling
Jim — I promised to forward the sampling locations to all those on the public health call this morning, so I
amusing your email below.
Trent — in discussion with local governments later this morning an attorney George House, indicated
they thought the Chemoursampling
location should beatoutfaUO01rather than outfaUOOZ. After Sheila and | discussed itfurther, |now
understand that wastewater from
outfaU 001 and other wastewaters flow into the collection line for oudaU UOIvvithin the plant
site. OutfaU0UJisthe point the combined
wastewater actually enters the river. Therefore the sampling should bedone atoutfa||UO2. |fnot, xve
will belosing potential contributions
from other parts ofthe wastewater that also flow into outfa|| OOZ. We want to make sure you
agree before discussing this further.
Appreciate everyone's time in all the discussions today.

Subject: Gen XSampling
Jamie,
My proposal was to sample once per week to coincide with Chenours' samples at the
four intakes, the five water treatment plants (CFPUA, Pender County, Brunswick County,
International Paper, and Smithfield Packing) finished water, the CFPUAASRwell and
one Wrightsville Beach Well. There would be three sets of samples over three week
period.
