Thanks for the update. Please add Mitchell,ken@epa.gov to your list of reviewers.
Absolutely. Maria and the information she shared was very helpful.
We are getting down to a crunch time as we need to provide a revised health statement for the public
within the next Z weeks at the latest. Our investigation has raised several questions that will not be fully
resolved in the next couple weeks. Therefore, we are considering how we will address uncertainty
boundaries when crafting a statement and choosing a numerical value for our next health guidance for
drinking water.
| believe you are aware that we're w/nsppin0 up our current risk assessment working document, so we
can share it and requestfeedback. The precise time that that document will be available is expected to
be Wednesday or Thursday next week. We'd like to introduce the document in a conference call with
EPA and ATSDR on Thursday 7/06, and then we'll ask everyone to provide rapid feedback.
Maria shared a list of people who could help review our risk assessment, which I'm copying and pasting
below. Could you add any other reviewers that you'd like for us to include?

|'m looking for a document that was referenced in one ofour calls in which the EPA/TSCAeva|uated
GenX manufacturing and used a point of departure of 0.1 mg/kg/day in the risk assessment. I believe it
was permit. Could you help me find the right person to send that to me?
We're almost finished with our second round of evaluation of health risk associated with GenX in the
Cape Fear River. We're comparing other risk assessments that have been performed for GenX and would
OEQ-CFVV_00013511
like to include the one EPA/TSCA did for GenX manufacturing. We're interested in seeing things like
points of departure and uncertainty factors, and how these values were relevant tothe situations that
were being assessed by different parties. |'m almost done with our most recent round of evaluation and
this comparison will help metowrap itup.
I would also like to share our evaluation with EPA, ATSDR, and the NC DEQ. I have a document to share
and would like to present our approach in a phone call on Friday this week. |'U send another email to
coordinate a time for the call.

We are working to get you all the information that is publicly available while we work on the CBI access.
Do you have the CAS numbers or names of the chemicals you are interested in data? Are these the
correct CAS that you are interested in:
* 13252'13'6
I think you can access additional TSCA 8(e) filings and other data by searching for the CAS number(s) in
