Dear Mr. Reed:
The subject Compliance 'Order was issued by USEPA to the DuPont Company — Fayetteville
Works for failure to submit the 2004 Title V Compliance Certification to the EPA Administrator.
This site sent the required 2004 Title V Compliance Certification to USEPA Region 4 via
certified mail on January 28, 2005. The return receipt shows that USEPA Region 4 received the
compliance certification on February 1, 2005. Per your request, a photocopy of that .return
receipt and a photocopy of the subject compliance certification are enclosed.
Since the error in this matter rests solely with USEPA Region 4, DuPont requests that the
subject Compliance Order be officially rescinded and purged from any and all public files.
