Your request received August 1, 2017, concerning the pumping and hauling of wastewater generated
from Chemours Company — Fayetteville Works has been reviewed by the staff of the Fayetteville
Regional Office.
As explained in your request, you plan to pump and haul approximately 30,000 gallons per day of
wastewater generated by Chemours to a Clean Harbors incinerator in El Dorado, .Arkansas; Deer Park,
Texas; or Ontario, Canada. The wastewater is also shipped to the Veolia incinerator located in Sauget,.
Illinois, These companies have indicated their willingness to accept and treat the wastewater in
accordance with documents received from the above -mentioned companies.
Please be aware that Chemours will be responsible for the proper transportation of the wastewater to the
companies designated receiving site. Upon completion of these pump and haul activities, Chemours shall
provide notification to this office that these activities have ceased'. Any environmental impacts that can be
attributed to this activity may be used as justification for the Division to request termination of the subject.
