The court on Friday ordered [hemoursto continue preventing the discharge ofprocess wastewater containing GenX into waters of the state. The court's order also requires Chemours to immediately prevent the discharge of PFESA compounds, which the EPA has identified as Nafion byproducts 1 and 2, until a state wastewater discharge permit with appropriate permit conditions isissued. The consent order also addresses the outstandinR reauests for information the state has made of the company this summer.
