My deadline is12:3Opmtomorrow (7uesday). I'm onthe hook for astory tomorrow, and I'm previewing the EK8[meeting onWednesday atwhich Knappeisslated tospeak. I've bolded the questions, so you can tell them apart from the context. Thanks a bunch, Lisa 1. On January 10, Michael Johnson from Chemours sent Connie Brower the report by Detlef Knappe. It appears from the emai|sthat nothing came ofthat. On March 6, Connie Brower wrote to Julie Grzyb that the "mention of Chemours" in the message is "disturbinr because previously levels were highest well above the plant and were attributed to the military base. Was Connie referring to PFOAS in general or GenX? And what was being done to stem the flow of these chemicals from the base? But she was cc:d onthe original email the previous November and again in April in advance of the Knappe meeting. Is Jessica saying that she doesn't recall these emails or the Knappe paper? 5. Also onMay 16 Knappe tells DWR staffers that he's been contacted by the Star News and wantsfeedback before he responds. But there is still no action reflected in the emails. And finally, after another meeting with the Cape Fear River Partnership in late May, there are still delays in a Knappe meeting. Connie Brower and Julie Gryzb plan to meet with him in June. What is the reason for the delays in April and May?
