1'he Chemours Company would like to sample potable (drinking water) wells in.
the immediate vicinity of its Fayetteville Works facility. The pUrpOSC of the sampling
program is to determine wliether traces of the chernical COMPOLInd TIFPO-DA, wbich is
sometimes referred to as "Gen X" or "C3 difner,' are present in area d6211diag water
wells,
Your property has been idexitified as one that may have a private Nvell used for
drinking water purposes within the area of this sampling program, We request your
permission to obtain. a sample of your drinking water, The sampling will be conducted at
.no cost to you and will be scheduled at. your convenience, It will require a technician to
come, to your house for less than 10 minutes to collect a container ofwater, typically
from your kitchen faticet. Sarnples can also be collected iron- an OUISide spigot if yOU
prefer.The samples will then be analyzed by a laboratory for TIFPO-DA.
