At the DuPont Company — Fayetteville Works ("DuPont") facility in Bladen County, both the Butacite® and SentryGlas® manufacturing facilities were part of that sale and are now wholly owned by Kuraray America. As part of the renewal of the subject Title V Air Permit, DuPont requests all of the Butacite® Process Area emission sources listed in Section 2.1(B) of the subject permit, the SentryGlas® Process emission source listed in Section 2.1(G) of the subject permit, and one insignificant activity (Source ID No. I-I1) listed in Attachment II of the subject permit, all be removed from the renewed DuPont permit. If any additional forms or information are needed to implement this request, please let me know. DuPont understands that the Division of Air Quality will not process the DuPont renewal permit until after the new Kuraray America air permit is in place for the emission sources and control devices they have purchased from DuPont. To comply with the requirements of our Title V Air Permit, two copies of this letter and the attachments are being submitted to the Fayetteville Regional Office.
