In response to your May 17, 2007 e-mail to me regarding the proposed WS-IV
reclassification of the Cape Fear River in Bladen and Cumberland Counties:
The next step in the reclassification process is for water quality studies to be
conducted (in order to determine if the subject waters meet water supply water
quality standards). Such sampling for these studies will be conducted by DWQ
personnel, and it is estimated that this sampling will occur this summer.
