Thanks for the information. And you are correct, it has been a while since
z conducted a npx.
The reason z asked for the zwc formula you guys use is because z was having
a difficult time getting the one in a 1999 WET strategy document to jive
with the zwc numbers. Granted z may (am) be math challenged but z never did
get the formula in the document below to work.
This is the strategy document the Aquatic Tox folks have on their *ebsite.
https;yncdenr.s5.amazonaws.rom/sJfs-publir/water`/`2OQuali Ooocunents/
whole%2Osffluent%2OToxicity'/oZO(wsT)/wsT%20nonitoring%2Oand%Z0nepnrting/mcow0
%20wsT%20strategy.pdf
The formula you sent works, and the formula on the Aquatic tox biocide
worksheets work as well. The one above' not so much. [at least form me]
z would like a copy of the mpA guidance the permitting staff utilizes as
they develop potential parameters to be limited in permits. This may be on
the permitting *ebsite, but z could not locate it.
pYz'
when z was in the building last week z ran into 3ay Z. we talked Gen x and
several other topics as well as the permitting program issues and the
backlog. z told him that as issues change, staffing expertise changes'
budgets get cut, etc. sometimes you need to make programmatic changes to
keep pace. The same old structure that may have worked back in 2000
probably will not work the same in 2017.
z suggested getting the mposs permitting under one supervisor {you} would
add greater flexibility and more efficient use to the permitting staff. He
seemed to be listening but who knows if he will every do anything other than
just stay in the same rut.

Hi Steve,
Good morning. Guess it's been a while since you did a npA!
Here ya gu-
zwc ~ Percentage contribution of Permitted plm* (pp) from wwTp
zwc(%) ~ [Pp / (pp + 7Q10s)] * IOO
To calculate a wQ limit it's the standard / zwc using the 7qI0s for a
chronic standard and use the 1Q10 for an acute standard In this case the zwc
is as a fraction (nut in percentage form).
call if you have any questions.

Steve - I'm out of the office today' so z don't have the formula handy.
For existing facilities we'd use the flows from the wLAs done in the 90s. z
don't know what we'd use for new facilities.
3ulie / mike - do you have the formula handy? If so, please share with
Steve.
Thanks'
