Lisa,
osQ and oxxs are exploring all regulatory and legal options available as we continue our investigation of
chemours. That includes all of our sampling and analysis of surface water in the cape pear River and
ground water in the 14 monitoring wells at chemnurs' facility near Fayetteville. we are making those
results publicly available as soon as possible.
As part of our investigation' we are also reviewing the specific identifying information chemnurs
provided for the chemicals it was discharging into the cape pear River and will make public as soon as it
is available any appropriate enforcement action.

today. my deadline is I.
specifically, in addition to the funding decision by lawmakers, I'm wondering what steps oc0 will take to
issue a NOV to chemours.

z think at the enc the secretary explained why os0 hadn't thus far, but if z could get a re -explanation
for that, I'd appreciate it.
