All, attached are 2documents that have been completed bymodeling branch. They are companion documents and
should bedistributed together.
Cape Fear Needs Statement — describes the reasons why we are developing models and the overall development plan
CFRMonitoring Plan — describes the data needs for model development.
As written, these plans do not allocate responsibility for who does what monitoring (e.g. coalitions vs DWR), but merely
describes the needs and provides information on who currently monitors existing stations. VVewill need toconsult with
coalitions todetermine their interest inparticipating. How best todeliver that request issomething vveshould talk
about.
At this point, |'d rather focus on getting a dean monitoring program going starting in ]an 2018, getting something going
this year does not really seem possible.
