This letter is the required notification, pursuant to Part 2. 1 (F)(2)(g)(ii) of the subject permit,
that the DuPont Company — Fayetteville Works will conduct the required Method 9 opacity
observation, pursuant to Part 2.1(G)(2)(d) of the subject permit, to determine the opacity of the
stack emissions from the rental boiler (ID No. PS -Temp) on November 7, 2012.
