Both procedures, authorized under the Clean Air Act, allow changes to be made prior to revising the Title V permit. Minor Permit Modifications - Changes that qualify as "minor" still require a permit application, however the change can be made immediately after the NCDAQ determines that your application describing the change is complete. Off Permit 502(b)(10) Changes - Changes that qualify as "502(b)(10)" can be made seven (7) days after notification (no application needed) to the NCDAQ and the federal EPA.
