1. Purpose of Application
The Chemours Company - Fayetteville Works facility is located in Bladen County, North Carolina. Application
No. 0900009.15A, received by the Division on June 22, 2015, is an application for an ownership change as listed
below:
New Owner Name: The Chemours Company FC, LLC
Former Owner Name: E. I. du Pont de Nemours and Company
No change to the facility name has been requested as a part of this ownership change and, therefore, remains
Chemours Company - Fayetteville Works.
2. Facility Description
The Chemours Company - Fayetteville Works facility is a chemical manufacturing facility that employs
approximately 500 employees and 250 full-time contractors on a 24 hr, 7 day per week basis. The facility consists
of six individual manufacturing plants, a boiler house and a waste treatment operation. The facility also has two
permanent boilers onsite, one permanent boiler which is permitted but not yet constructed, and one permitted
temporary boiler.

This facility was last inspected on March 10, 2015 by Mr. Gregory Reeves of the FRO. According to Mr. Reeves'
report, the facility appeared to be in compliance with their current air permit 03735T39 issued February 2, 2015.

The issuance of Air Quality Permit No. 03735T40 to Chemours Company — Fayetteville Works is recommended.
