The Kuraray wastewater discharge is included in the Chemours NPDES, or wastewater, permit. The testing being done at
It is our current understanding that Kunsray is not involved in production processes that would create or use GenX. We
will be evaluating all the processes that are part of the wastewater permit. At this time we do not have knowledge that
there are compliance issues atthe Kuraray plant site.

Thanks again for your help in lining up the sampling and other requests we've made recently. Wanted to requestsome
information related to Kuraray America, which I'm hearing NCDEQ officials are investigating.
Could you provide the letter that was sent to local municipalities informing them of the investigation? Also, would you
be able to provide any/all of the company's permits, both current and pending? Or would I need to reach out to
someone else to obtain those? These permits would theoretically show what chemicals, etc. the company is producing?
